The owner of this home originally called us to repair the leaking chimney. Once the repair was completed we were asked to refurbish the front porch and paint the exterior of the house. The chimney was leaking due to weathered and damaged siding. We removed the old trim, siding, and insulation board and replaced them with new matching products. The flashing was checked for leaks. A fresh coat of paint with a darker shade on the trim made the chimney look brand new. We next renovated the front porch. The four posts were removed and replaced with three new ones. The siding and trim were removed and replaced. The front door was refinished. Finally the new siding as well as the remainder of the exterior was painted. Note the use of a darker shade on the trim. The window and the house numbers that nearly disappeared before are now accentuated.
