Bedrooms and Hallway

The homeowner called us to paint three bedrooms and the adjacent hallway. Using the existing window sills, we trimmed out the windows in each room with fluted molding and corner blocks. The walls were painted in a satin finish. A semi-gloss was applied to the doors, crown, baseboards, and trim. The doors were sprayed to avoid brush marks. The crown, baseboards, and trim were brushed.

Once we completed the painting, the homeowner applied a faux finish to the walls of the bedrooms. Blinds that matched the trim color were added.

This "faux cabinet" began life as a stained front for a bathroom vanity. The homeowner wished to hide the laundry chute at the end of a hallway. We removed the front from the vanity, securely attached it to the wall, trimmed it out, and painted it. The drawers and left door are not functional. The right door opens to access the laundry chute.
